Alligator Point

As promised, here's the guard at the new development in AlligatorPoint.

There seemed to be a lot of excitement out front. Apparently, some sort of fashion show was in progress. This dapper young gentleman had volunteered his services as emcee.

These three ladies graciously posed for me while waiting for their turn on the catwalk.

Polly and Nellie and other robust members of the Buckwheat family were in the audience.

Sandhill Wireweed

Polygonella robusta

The Saltmarsh Mallow Quartet provided entertanment during intermission.

Everyone had a wonderful time and can't wait for the next event. Maybe next time, I can convince the Grand Dame to let me photograph her. She's a prickly old thing, but I think a bit of honey water might just open her heart. 8-]

Meems, we got such a kick out of the white squirrel. It just snowballed from there. I've always said, sometimes you just have to be a litle crazy to stay sane. ;)

Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

Craziness and silliness are definitely underrated! Fun posting, Sophie.

Your 3 ladies picture reminds me of the palm trees in the formation of a W at the end of the movie "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad, World. One of my favorites.

Steve, you're so right. A little commic relief aids the merry heart. 8-]

RCWB, I hadn't thought of that! It's been years since I've seen that movie, but I've heard mention of it a couple of times lately. Reckon it's time for a re-re-re-re-rerun. 8-]
