Monday Morning Mystery - Missing!
So sorry there's no mystery today. I've been dealing with computer 'issues' all day. To make it up to y'all, I'll share a couple deals I've stumbled upon.
First, free peppermint pancake puppies with any purchase at Denny's. Good till 11 December. The link should take you right to a printable coupon. Please let me know if the link doesn't work.
Next, half off any Boston Market family meal or market feast... this weekend only (not dates on coupon). Just print the coupon and enjoy.
I'll try my best to get back on track this week. My schedule has drastically changed since I started couponing in earnest and doing online surveys, etc, for pocket change. I just wish I'd gotten serioous about the coupon thing soooner. Last week, between BOGO deals and coupons, I got about $112 worth of groceries for around $42! I've been reading reports from people who actually do better! Can y'all imagine?!
Anyhow, I'm kinda getting in the groove here, so things should be back to some semblance of normal right soonly. Thanks ever so for being so patient. 8-}
Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

Florida Factoid Friday

The Universalist Church of Tarpon Springs is home to the largest collection of paintings by George Inness, Jr. The collection is open to the public from 1 November through 31 May, every afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. except Mondays and holidays.
George Inness, Jr. was the son of famous American landscape artist, George Inness, and received much of his training from his father. He lived and did much of his work in Tarpon Springs at the Inness Manor and a camp on the Anclote River.
Bonus for anyone living in the area:
Click here to get $25 worth of food at
GreekTown Grille (in Clearwater) for $12.
I believe this deal is good until Sunday night... midnight.
I have never eaten there, but I've read some good reviews.
Ergo, I am not responsible. 8-}
I have no connection in any way, shape or form to this restaurant or this promotion. Just saw a deal and thought I'd pass it on.

Mystery revealed
So sorry it took me so long to get this up! It seems these days, that every week is busier than the one before. Suze, bless your heart for believing I'm capable of getting that close a shot of a buzzard. 8-]]] Truth be told, I haven't had hardly a hint of snap-happen the past couple weeks, so I've been digging in the archives. Hopefully, I'll be able to get in some refuge time this weekend. I'm overdue!

PS - I WILL be back later today with the regularly scheduled Floridiana.

Mystery revealed
Well, I have to admit, this ws a really hard one. FC almost got it. Many people mistake the Harvestman for a spider. Daddy Longlegs is an arachnid, only related to spiders. I wish I had a better shot for y'all. This was taken through a dirty glass darkly. I'm sure I have some much better old shots, but I got label lazy and lack a list. So, for now, my apologies for a poor full body view. I'll try to find or take a better one one of these days. Meanwhile, check out these abfab pics and info.

Mystery solved
FC was frst to guess Wood Stork AKA ironhead. Other nicknames include flinthead, Spanish buzzard, gourdhead, and preacher.
I'm a little short on blogging time lately, partly coz our phone lines have been hinky for a couple weeks and the phone company, which just changed names, has yet to respond to our calls.
Typical... more money for less service. >:\
