We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.

Great shots. My mom had a fish like the violet/yellow looking one, I can't remember it's common name. Maybe some sort of damsel?
SwampAngel, it was definitely worth the trip. If you ever have to make the long haul up thataway, try to schedule a couple hours there.
Cedrorum, it's a beautiful fish, FC correctly ID'ed it as a Royal Gramma, AKA Fairy Basslet.
