I have about 10 watermelons shooting up. I've never planted them before and am so excited at the thought of having a bunch of them in time for the 4th of July!

I just can't get into collards. This may sound really prejudiced or stereotypical, but the only collard greens I have eaten that I enjoyed were cooked by old black ladies. Years ago when I was a park ranger, I had an old lady named Miss Rose who brought some to me some to see if I'd like them They were wonderful!
