Hey you!

Well, of course I have to comment on your upcoming camera purchase. I can't possibly recommend the Sony Alpha 100 DSLR more. But I think everyone finds the camera that is right for them. Still, check it out, along with the Fuji, Panasonic, and Olympus.

Glad you could load my video! Yep, there is a fish way down there at the end. I thought I had video-editing software to clean up the beginning but no such luck. I'll do another some time. Visit the Wacissa if you get a chance when you are in the area.

I NEED that Olympus UW camera!

Considering the crystal clarity and sharpness of Peggy's amazing photos, that's a powerful recommendation above.

Peggy, if I can find one within my budget, you can be sure I'll snatch it up! Hmmm, maybe if I apply my coming-soon rebate checks... Everything's a trade-off. 8-]

FC, you and me both! I've managed to justify buying one new camera. Not sure I can get away with two.

I totally agree re Peggy's endorsement. Not so sure I'd get the same brilliant results. Frankly, a lot of the technical part of photography eludes me.

That's a really cool-sounding camera, although the review was not as glowing as I had hoped. I like Olympus products -- have a camera, binoculars, and voice recorder of theirs. But like Peggy suggested, the one that ultimately suits you or fits you will be hard to beat in your mind. I look forward to hearing what you get!

Steve, I know what you mean about the reviews. It's still a pretty awesome-sounding camera, all things considered. I'm hoping I can get up to the big city and test drive a few models at the camera shop. Choosing just one is the hard part. 8-]
