Florida Factoid Friday

Extending from Key Biscayne to the Dry Tortugas (200 miles),
the Florida reef tract is the most extensive living coral barrier reef system
in North American waters and the third largest system in the world.

Hi Sophie,
Another very good and interesting piece of info about Florida, and the pic is lovely too. I've been to Key Biscayne (only one time) but never got to go see the coral reef. Always wished I had.

Graceanne, I actually lived in the keys for several months and didn't see the reef. I also kicked myself for missing the African Queen.

It's a beautiful weekend down here. So nice to get out and about without bundling up. Hope you're enjoy this foretaste of spring as much as I am. 8-]
