Plant City, the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World,
holds the Guinness record for the world's largest strawberry shortcake.
The 827 square-foot, 6,000 pound cake was made
on 19 Feb. 1999 in McCall Park.

Do you ever think they'll learn to grow "giant strawberries" like they do pumpkins? Don't answer that: I'm just joking. We look forward to Plant City strawberries down here in Naples.
Robert, I wonder, if they could grow giant strawberries, if they'd be sour. I don't have any starbabies right now, so I'll make do with a big ol' bowl of spumoni. 8-}
