New look
This is part of the reason I've been more absent than usual this week. I searched the web for aeons to find a 3-column template that reached out and grabbed me. I test-drove several before finally making up my mind. Then I had to transfer all the links and such. It looked SO good before I moved in all my stuff. (Kinda like our house. It looked so huge and roomy before we brought in our truckload of boxes and about 1000 [give or take] books). Anyhow, is it just me or does this look crowded now?

Wow, at first I thought I was at the wrong blog. So much to say here... First off I'll admit now I've always wondered if the last photo was you (assumed it a younger sophie)... now I have to ask because of the new one.
VERY 60's (?) and VERY cute... great idea.
I know exactly what you mean about the boxes of stuff... always crowds out those wonderful spaces we thought were plenty until ...the stuff.
If you think this blog is crowded you must really think mine is crowded. No, this new look is good IMO. You have plenty of "white space" and still room for all your "stuff". Love the new header photo. I know how much work this is so I know you have been VERY busy. I really like the tabs and WISH I knew how to do that.

Meems, thanks ever so! ;-] I never thought of your space as crowded. Probably coz there are different colours dividing the columns. I wish I knew how to do the tabs, as well. It was part of the template design. Maybe this winter, I'll sit down and figure it all out..... or not. LOL!
FC, it'll be hard for me to remove the horses. However, if I manage to snap a decent replacement, it will happen.
And since you both asked about the picture... It was, as Meems surmised, taken in the late 60's. If captioned, it would bear my name. But I did not pose for it. (*;^)
I like it! I think this layout shows more of your personality. I don't think it's too crowded. Very nice!

Are you guys ready for Fay? The latest info appears to have it going right over you guys! First it was gonna be both of us, then just me, now you. Fay is definitely keeping us all guessing. At least we can guess from home with the kiddos.

Sayre, probably the only thing we'll do 'special' is take down, at least partially, the gazebo/tent thingy we just put up 2 weeks ago. Keeping us guessing, indeed!
