Late Saturday night, I found this little guy singing his heart out on the edge of our waterfall/fountain.
His neighbour joined in on the chorus.
There were several hanging out in/on the fountain. After Fay's deluge, they were as happy as... well, frogs in a puddle. Out in the yard and back in the woods, there seemed to be millions serenading us... all night long.
And these two were swept away by the music.
Much as we've needed the rain, let's hope Gustav and his friends don't bring us a frog-strangler! 8/

I bet FC would've gotten it... eventually.
Frogs! Ugh!!! I like to hear them singing, but they just creep me out, which is weird because I love reptiles and herps. Cute pictures, though. The froggy love one is funny - they both look bored to death!
I love your frog photos, they are so cute. :) The night that are streets were flooded during Fay, I heard SO MANY frogs out there - they certainly do love it!
Thank you for visiting my blog and thank you for your kind words. :)
Have a blessed day!
Well, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, so I still flunked!
Good one Sophie!
Frog symphonies ....reckon they's
a gonna be a fair size babay frog population, huh?
I hop Gustav fizzles. We'd ready fer a week of sunshine, ain't we, Sugar?
Hey, Soph! I won't be around on Friday, so I'll go ahead and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a dry one. :)
SwampAngel, they kinda creep me out, as well. Mostly coz they are so prone to leap on you and *p*.
The couplet are probably looking for a ciggie. (Wake me when it's over.)
Kathy, glad you came over. I do love a nice frog concert, but the rain is better spread out over time.
FC, SwampAngel's right. You would've figured it out. 8-]
Aint B, I'm SO ready for cane season tobe done!
Jena, thanks ever so! I wish my birthday was in a cooler month, so I could take advantage of the occasion to head for Lowry Park. 8-}
