I love JESUS! I'm a 7th-generation Florida native, dyed-in-the-wool Southron belle. I just recently dusted off my genealogy notes and, thanks to a long-lost relative, nearly doubled the details. We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.

I'm living up to my admission that I suck at this. Not a clue.
Hey, Sophie. I have two guesses, but I'll only try one at a time. How about a dung beetle making its living?
Iam completely stumped.
coffee grounds? burned wood? black dirt?
I think Steve is right. Remember what we used to call them? T*** R*****s. :)
Cedrorum, I'm not that good at it, either, really. Once I know the answer, of course, it seems quite obvious.
Steve, you got it! I nearly stepped on the poor thing. It was what made me miss the stilt-jumping-over-the-spoonbill shot.
SwampAngel, that's how I feel most Tuesdays at your place. 8-}
Suze, possibly all of the above? LOL!
Jena, yep, I do remember. No-frills decriptive titles.
