I love JESUS! I'm a 7th-generation Florida native, dyed-in-the-wool Southron belle. I just recently dusted off my genealogy notes and, thanks to a long-lost relative, nearly doubled the details. We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.
SO sorry for a non-individual reply... it's been one wild and crazy week.
I'm so tickled y'all are enjoying the Flarda factoids. I do wonder how many other-statites know just what a treasure FL is. Best not to let them know. 8-]

Interesting! I never knew that, and never would've thought that, either.
Interesting factoid. Snowmelt factoids would make a good coffee-table book.
I never realized that. I love your factoid Friday posts - there's always something new and interesting to learn about our great state. Thanks!
It only receives it when the Gawgians back off on their water hording!!
Neat Factoid!!
