Flardaphile link

I've just rediscovered a site that I think some of y'all might enjoy. It's called the Florida Memory Project.

The Florida Memory Project presents a selection of historical records that illustrate significant moments in Florida history, educational resources for students of all ages and archival collections for historical research. The Project utilizes selected original records, photographs and other materials from the collections of the State Library and Archives of Florida.

I did a quick search and found a bit of information about several relatives. One of the most interesting features is the photo collection. Over 137,000 photographs from the state archives. Schedules and self-discipline go right out the window. 8-}

Enjoy!

This is a great site. Guess what I got in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Eliza Atzeroth's homestead papers. All the way from the Natinal Archives. They thought she was a man as she filed as E.M. Dickens. There's another story in there, I think!

I've checked out that site before, but a long time ago. This time I did find some pics of my family. Very cool. I could spend alot of time on that site.

Never tried geodashing. I did check it out once, but nothing was close. Maybe I ought to check that out again, too! I'm always up fpr new adventures :)

Cathy, how exciting! Can't wait to read your next story!

SwampAngel, that's so cool that you found family pics there!

There's a new geodashing game since I last checked the site. Maybe there are some close to you now.
