I love JESUS! I'm a 7th-generation Florida native, dyed-in-the-wool Southron belle. I just recently dusted off my genealogy notes and, thanks to a long-lost relative, nearly doubled the details. We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.
Awesome blog, Was trying to figure out who was speaking Gaelic on the porch. There is a Christian singer Ginny Owens, Long Way Home is one of her albums. She is blind. Kind of sings like Nora Roberts only better. Listen to some if you get a chance.
Hey, Curmudgeon! Welcome to my sadly neglected corner of the blogosphere!
I've been a Ginny Owens fan for years. Christian music is pretty much all I've listened to for the past 25+ years, so I'm not very familiar with other contemporary artists.
Gad you stopped in. Reeckon I oughta dust off some of the bloggy dust around here before much longer. 8-}
well, no matter that the ghost theme ain't yore cup of tea--hope youse gonna stay in the Haiku line up--Fishy jes' did a grand theme JOY, an now the Troll won it so this Monday will be back to his place.
You ok? when I doan see a new post fer a coon's age I git a mite worriet.
Did some serious work at Ether Capacious--interestin' responses. Seems only Southron folk know that the Enlightenment weren't enlightenin'.
Onc't in awhile I head north on 75 toward Alanta--is ya close at any point? Would meet ya fer a cherry coke at the nearest drug store.
Iffin' ya still git online jes' know I be missin' ya'. Hope yore Christmas were splendid. Ain't tryin' ter pester ya none, but please drop me a note when ya might find a moment--lemme know how ya' be.
