Inmates at the minimum-security Hillsborough County Jail in Tampa
add some zing to prison food with their own jail-grown peppers
and Jailhouse Fire Hot Sauce, which they sell for $7 a bottle.
The hottest variety is called 'No Escape.'

The warden there emailed me once after I posted about datil peppers. He told me about their program ... sounds pretty cool ... or hot or whatever.
