“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” (1 John 5:14-15) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
I love JESUS! I'm a 7th-generation Florida native, dyed-in-the-wool Southron belle. I just recently dusted off my genealogy notes and, thanks to a long-lost relative, nearly doubled the details. We started home schooling when only 'outlaws' did it and still enjoy a daily quest for knowledge. These days, the family spends a lot of time birding, butterflying, spending as much time in 'the woods' as possible while they're still here.
Since more than 85% of scrub has disappeared to development since WW11, Florida scrub ecosystem supports the highest concentration of rare and endangered plants in the US.

Here's another factoid, I published an article on Florida's Coastal Scrub in Florida Wildlife Magazine back in the 80's.
Very interesting. If I read the article correctly, Troll County doesn't contain any true scrubland.
FC, I might have read your article. Kewl!
Troll, looks like that holds true, unfortunately, for most of us.
